Soumaya Trad

In early 2016, Soumaya discovered CrossFit and the community within after getting bored from her local globo gym. She found a place where she was challenged daily, and taken out of her comfort zone on a regular basis.
Starting as a complete beginner, she learnt the value of hard work and perseverance and the rewards that can be reaped from her dedication. In 2019, she completed her CrossFit Coaching Level 1 Course and began to help others better themselves, both physically and mentally.
In 2021, after being a family lawyer for 7 years, she called quits on the job that was no longer satisfying her. She committed herself completely to CrossFit training and to work with her community to help them grow and become strong. Eager to learn more so to better her abilities to coach her members, Soumaya enrolled in and successfully completed her CrossFit Level 2 Certification in early 2022.

Soumaya is dedicated, passionate and hungry to learn and get better so that she can benefit those who choose to join her community. All Grit is her pride and joy, as it offers a completely safe, supportive and welcoming environment for all people - from those who have never walked into a gym to seasoned athletes.

HOLLY USHER
OWNER AND HEAD COACH - RYDE LOCATION
Holly has been Crossfitting since 2014 when she started dragging her young kids along to classes for her own timeout and mental health.
What she loved most was the community and the shared experience of a workout, whatever level of fitness you walked in the door with.
Holly soon gained a love for the competition floor and decided not to return to her law career, helping others achieve their fitness goals while being flexible around her "Mum" job was more important.
Holly has been coaching since 2016 and a Level 2 Crossfit Trainer since 2018. Having had back surgery in 2018, Holly has a focussed eye when her clients are training and is highly experienced at scaling and modifying for any injury or niggle, keeping you moving
without aggravating pains.
In 2022, Holly stepped up to become an affilate owner, partnering with Soumaya to Open All Grit CrossFit Ryde. She has long been passionate about making Crossfit accessible to people of all abilities and can now do it from a place she calls her own.

SIMON CALLANDER
MANAGER
HEAD COACH
Simon's involvement and work in the fitness industry spans over more than two decades, both as an athlete and a coach. Simon has competed at a high level in both olympic weightlifting and CrossFit and discovered CrossFit in the early days of its inception and introduction into the Australian community.

Having owned and operating a CrossFit box for almost 10 years, Simon comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge about all things training.
​
Simon's knowledge and experience means that you can trust that you are in good hands when you attend his classes, and feel confident that your needs are being met. Simon has worked with athletes of different levels, from complete beginners, to seasoned athletes, everyone has something to learn from Simon.

Jae Daly
Weightlifting and CrossFit coach
Jae is a professional weightlifting Junior National Champion. After breaking two National records, she earnt herself a spot on the Australian Junior Squad.

She started her CrossFit journey at the age of 14, successfully completing her Level 1 CrossFit coaching course at the age of 17. By 2018, Jae was actively coaching CrossFit and Weightlifting and has been ever since. She levelled up her training and successfully obtained her CrossFit L2 Trainer in 2022.
​
Due to Jae's experience training at a professional level, she understands how the body moves and helps guide you through the sessions. She's always down for a laugh and is keen to learn about you, your goals and why you want to train. Jae will help push you, cheer for you and be your coach - all in one!
